Rothschilds Vienna, The # 2019

The Vienna of the Rothschild family, a Vienna that is hidden behind many facades. The famous palace of the Rothschild family once stood on the spot where the Vienna Chamber of Labor is now located. Today a glass memorial plaque at Theresianumgasse 16-18, in the 4th district, commemorates the palace that was destroyed in World War II. In this episode we span a cinematic screen that spans almost two centuries and use the history of the Rothschild family to show the various facets of these highly influential bankers, flâneurs and bon vivants, as well as their places of work.

Due to the diversity of the Austrian history, the successful series "Austria's Noble Mansions" this year provides insights into still inhabited properties. After the successful broadcasting of the first and second seasons, we, following the tradition, present other prominent Austrian mansions.
