On a foray into the most beautiful palaces of Austria
It is one of the most prominent squares in Vienna, a typical product of the Ringstrasse era: in addition to a number of first-class palaces, Schwarzenbergplatz is also adorned with the Hochstrahlbrunnen and the monument to General Karl Philipp Schwarzenberg, the victor of the Battle of the Nations.
Leipzig against Napoleon. Behind it are the Schwarzenberg Palace and the Belvedere. Hardly anywhere else, but in Vienna one has much more to offer in terms of Hochstrasse and Ringstrasse crossings. The new season of "The Austria's Noble Mansions", the continuation of the ORFIII successful series about Vienna's palaces, is dedicated to the Palais Ludwig-Viktor, the Palais Wertheim and the House of the Industrial Association, among others.
Art connoisseur and ORF-III presenter Karl Hohenlohe will be exploring once again the most magnificent architectural treasures that Vienna has to offer in the second season of "Vieler Herren Häuser" (the Austria's Noble Mansions). The other four destinations lead the moderator into the Albertina, the Belvedere Palace, the Park Hotel Schönbrunn and to the versatile Palais am Schwarzenbergplatz.
