Look back at the dramatic hours of this massive blaze
30 years ago on the night of November 26th to 27th, 1992, a fire broke out in the Great Redout Hall of the Hofburg of Vienna, which largely destroyed the hall and severely affected the neighboring Small Redout Hall. A significant part of the architectural heritage of the Republic of Austria fell victim to the fire. During the night, 240 firefighters fought the fire, the police cordoned off the city center and evacuated 60 residential parties in the area around the Hofburg.
The documentary looks back on the dramatic hours of this massive blaze, which remains a lasting memory for many people.
