The First District is the second stop on Kari Hohenlohe's journey along the U1 metro line. Anyone who gets off here ends up in a high-priced business world dominated by tourist activity and the glamorous facades on the large streets and squares thAT impress passers-by. Anyone who comes from Reumannplatz and ends up here feels like they have arrived in a different city. But the inner city is also a place worth seeing off the beaten track; hidden cafes or bars like the legendary Gutruf, in the basement of which Herr Karl was once filmed, adds its own charm to this place.
